Our Program
Redlynch Kindergarten is a Long Day Care Centre that runs a Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program that caters for children aged 3-5 years old.
We have two classes of kindergarten aged children that run on a five-day-fortnight between 7am - 4pm, both taught by our fabulous team of qualified educators.
Our Reefs class runs every Monday, Tuesday and alternating Wednesdays while our Rainforests class runs every second Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays. Our Daily Fee for 3 year old children is $85 a day before any CCS or Government Subsidies.
We will be offering the Free Kindergarten Scheme in January 2024 for the Kindy aged Children as well as Before and After Kindy Care.

FREE Kindy in 2024
From January 2024 the government has introduced free kindy for 15 hours a week or 600 hours a year. Free kindy is available to children turning 4 before June 30 and is eligible strictly for the hours the kindy program runs (8:30am - 2:30pm) 10 weeks a term. Before and After Kindy Care will run outside of kindy hours between 7:00am-8:30am & 2:30pm-4:00pm) for a small fee.
Redlynch Kindergarten Offer of Enrolment
Children turning four before June 30th will always be given first preference at our Kindergarten. Our focus is for our children to develop the skills needed to be prep ready, therefore we need to make the opportunity as readily available as we can.
Our class sizes are only small being capped at 24 children, which means that we can not place everybody. So by getting in as early as possible on the waiting list you will ensure a greater chance of receiving a place when the time comes. As soon as a position becomes available you will receive an email from us so please make sure you keep your contact details up to date at all times.
To receive a place in one of our classes the first step is to fill out on one of our waitlist forms (either online or in person) and pay the $12 registration fee. Waitlist applications can be filled out via the button below or you can come and see us for a paper copy.

Once payment is received your child will be placed in line for a spot as it becomes available. Please note this is an expression of interest and does not guarantee your child a place.

Other Fees
Even though the Government subsidises the cost of Kindy, there are a few small expenses that are not covered, these fees keep the Kindy up and running.
Enrolment Fee: This is a fee that is charged to enrol your child and includes the cost of a hat and a Kindy shirt. This will be invoiced to you upon receival of the completed enrolment form.
Before and After Kindy Care:
The Government will only subsidise the cost of the Kindy Program daily from 8.30-2.30 however if you require care before and after these times, we are happy to help. You do not need to book in for this service as long as your child is attending on that day you will be automatically charged upon early arrival or late pick up. The cost of this service will be
Before Kindy: $15 (full Fee)
After Kindy: $15 (Full Fee)
This service is subject to CCS and discounts will be applied automatically.
Resource Fee: This is a $55 non refundable fee, it covers the cost of all resources used in the centre such as paints, crafts, and special events such as Mothers Day Fathers Day, graduation etc.This fee is charged Week One of every term (4 terms a year).
